Part of a 3 part series on Bali starting with Legian.

It was actually quite hard to decide where to stay in Bali, so many options with areas and everyone will give you advice on where to stay usually inserting their own preferences. There is something for everyone in Bali and certain areas suit some more than others. We decided to mix it up with Legian, Ubud then Seminyak. Trying to stay central in all of these areas and we were all happy with how it all worked out. Getting quite a mix.

Stayed: Swiss – Belinn Legian For the epic roof top pool, central location and delicious breakfast. We even came back here when we were stuck in Bali for that extra week. Spent many a days and nights up on the roof top.

Visited: Uluwatu, Jimbaran and Padang Padang beach. We visited these three gems in one day. Uluwatu temple for the monkeys ( a little bit scary, be warned) and that view, Padang Padang beach for lunch and a swim in the beautiful waters. Cocktails and sunset at the famous Rock bar at Ayana Resort. Then dinner in Jimbaran on the beach being seranaded by the locals.

Next up Ubud where we stayed across the road from the most amazing and instagramable cafe.

Enjoy.
